Halloween at The Cave

There have been too many parties to count at our new place over the past year, but last Halloween wins the award for most memorable and hardest night to remember!!!

Some of the attendees included: the three blind mice, Indiana Bones, Glitter Fairys from LA, Rescued Chilean Miners, a Muff Diver, a hunter, some Bananas, Bjork and so on and so forth.

I don't know what it is about costumes that makes people completely lose their minds, but that's exactly what happens. I Maybe it's the feeling of playing a role or being someone else for the night that allows you to just release all your inhibitions... That and a heaping shit ton of alcohol. I also don't know what it is about Halloween that makes an ex-girlfriend from college put on a smokin' hot fairy outfit, grab her best friend, ten pounds of glitter and drive from LA to San Clemente @10pm. I don't know the answer to all these things, but I can just be happy that the things that happened happened.

Our house was left in shambles and covered in glitter. The memories of the night are as hazy are the night itself, but the standout highlights are vivid, bright and worth their weight in gold.
These memories are for me and a select few, besides, so many things are better left unsaid and some stories aren't to be shared! I mean c'mon things got way outta hand. It would be hard to even help make sense of it all...
However, here are a few pictures:

Oh ya and a video of course:

6 - MAN

6 Man - Manhattan Beach Ca.

This past weekend was my first trip up to the 6-man; pretty insane... I mean it's Wednesday and I am still recovering. I can't imagine how some of the crew pulled off what they did. Thousands of people, day drinking, drugs, dancing and shot counts soaring into the double digits well before 9am on day three.

I arrived mid-day Saturday and looked down upon the see of people on the beach. My head started to spin; it was literally spinning. Not from social anxiety, but from the night before. A casual Friday night at my place in which a couple pool games gave way to king's cup, beer shotguns, push-ups (MINE game)*, and eventually an impromptu camping trip (aka me passing out in the back yard on the grass.) Anyways I was there, and I was there to make the most of it.

After my good friend Genelle showed up we headed down the block where our friends and Fanta shots were waiting for us. Ahhhh just what I needed. Took a trip to the liquor store down the street and the receipt read something like this: Sandwiches / salt and vinegar chips / Dr. Pepper / Jim Beam (operation home-front edition which lets you drink and support the troops) / candy and condoms... no shame in that game. I know yer wondering what brand (of candy) so... Sour Patch kids, dots, pop-rocks and fun dip had been acquired between me and Genelle. The night was obviously off to a great start.

I guess I could go on and on about the details of that Saturday Night, but instead I'll just say it ended with a beautiful girl, amazing music, a white bunny rabbit and phish food ice-cream all snuggled up in a hammock overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

here are a few pictures you can use your imagination for the rest:
